This is a guide for new players who want to play STR / DEX and deal much DPS as possible from start to endgame. First of all we need to learn few mechanics to maximize our economy and DPS during our Leveling. We spend all our Skill Points into STR until lvl 20.

Very Important: When you reach Level 20 please make sure to check the Items you need / want to buy and fix your stats. The first Part of this Guide ends with Level 30. After that no more Stats will be given in the Shop so hit 60 DEX when you reach this point.
__TOC__

If you have to much Gold and don’t know what to do with it you can spend your Gold for Items for your house. Those Items increase your Gold and EXP income Max 45% or you spend your Gold to buy Dragon Slayer or Gachas from other Players or Shop.
== Introduction ==

The NPCs in this game prefer to hit the ball to that side where your not standing. So if u stay more right they will hit the ball to the left. If you stay to much at the front they will lob the ball behind you. Use this knowledge to make sure you move to the right spot before the NPCs hit the ball. This is very useful for all Guardian Battle Maps.
Welcome to my '''Fantasy Tennis Solo STR/DEX Beginner Guide'''.

In every Map we try to throw the Crab as far as possible on the other side to make the NPC run into it or we aim to hit the NPC. Life Woods is the first Map with 2 NPCs which we reach after The Aelos so we have plenty of time to master the Crab QS.
This guide is aimed at new players who want to level efficiently while dealing as much DPS as possible from the beginning all the way to the endgame.

You have to buy a lot Quick Slots and Gold is very limited in the beginning. If you follow this rotation you economy with gold will be no longer a problem. When you buy QS make sure you always buy 1 Stack which is usually 50. During the Leveling part you will use all of your QS until you have around 1 single use of the QS left. Check your QS after rebuy if you slotted it. Then you sell this QS and buy 1 Stack back from the shop. The refund of the 1 Stack QS is around 50% of the money you spend for the entire stack. Later on you have to check if you have enough QS left for 1 more round otherwise sell and rebuy your QS.
Our goal is to maximize both our damage and our economy throughout the leveling process.

1 Stack Crab ( 50 ) = 1.000 Gold = Selling 1 single Crab = around 500 Gold.
=== Skill Points ===
Use this for every QS you buy from the shop or find during the Guardian rewards.

So lets begin the guide.
Invest '''all Skill Points into STR until Level 20'''.
We start with 10.000 Gold. We spend in the beginning everything to get much STR es we can and buy Gear which gives us STR and DEX. Also we buy shoes with 5 movement speed to move fast.

Rudolph Horn = 3.960 Gold = 3 STR / DEX
'''Important:'''
Mariachi Shoes = 1.960 Gold = 8 DEX / 5 Movement Speed
When you reach '''Level 20''', check which equipment you plan to buy and adjust your stats accordingly.
Racing Gloves = 2.360 Gold = 3 DEX
Crab Trap = 1.000 Gold = our main DPS QS

We play the first Guardian Map Nest of Rubycrab until we unlock the map The Aelos.
This guide covers progression up to '''Level 30'''. After that, the shop no longer provides additional stat upgrades, so make sure your final build reaches at least '''60 DEX'''. Every remaining Skill Point should be invested into STR.

The next Items we focus on the Shop are in this order.
== Gold Management ==

Star Wing Racket = 7.960 Gold = 10 STR *Skip able*
If you have more Gold than you currently need, there are several good ways to spend it.
Love Boy T-Shirt = 5.836 Gold = 12 DEX
Rooters Pennant     = 11.960Gold    = 15 STR
Soft Mohican = 3.160 Gold = 1 ALL Stats

Rackets can have Defensive or Offensive Skillshots and some Rackets have both.
* Buy furniture for your house to increase your Gold and EXP income (up to 45%).
The Rooters Pennant have Off and Def Skillshot so if you miss a Ball and have 1 Charge ready for Skillshot you can save 1 Ball.
* Purchase Dragon Slayer.
* Buy Gachas from other players or from the shop.

Bonus Item lower Gear / short etc. with STA / WIL for extra Ball DMG otherwise this slot stays empty.
Managing your Gold correctly early on will make the entire leveling process much easier.

During your Leveling your amount of DEX will be increased. We will switch our Crab QS to Soul QS for more Single target DPS. For a good change we need to understand the different between same. Crab is easy to use to attack the NPC in the backline. Souls have higher single target DPS but only hits the front one. Also Souls scales with DEX. For every 10 DEX we have 1 projectile more which starts at 30 DEX. Crabs are double as fast then Souls but later on Souls are more powerful than Crabs and makes the only one useful Single Target QS for endgame. We need a good amount of STR DEX combination to deal more DPS with Souls then with Crabs. We can beat Life Woods very easy with Crabs if we focus on the smaller NPC first. So plenty of time to gather crystals and check your DPS with Souls. After Life Woods Map we want to switch to Souls and replace Crab.
== Guardian Battle Mechanics ==

Knowledge: Ball DMG: If the Guardian makes a serve the incoming DMG if you miss the Ball is lower then the Ball DMG of the NPC who hits the ball.
Understanding Guardian AI is extremely important.

30 DEX = 2 Projectile
NPCs usually aim for the side where you are '''not''' standing.
40 DEX = 3 Projectile
50 DEX = 4 Projectile
60 DEX = 5 Projectile

The Map The Aelos is for a long time our last Map we visit because the next Map is Life Woods. There we have 2 NPCs and we need a Backbag to beat the Maps after The Aelos. Now we focus to Maximize our STR DEX with the Shop Items. If you have a Bag and unlocked your 3rd QS you can run Life Woods already. Otherwise the Bag from Shop is for Level 25. Without a 3rd Slot we barely can win Life Woods because the Goliath can use Souls which deals a huge amount of DMG which we need to Shield / Avoid.
* Stand more to the right → the NPC is likely to hit left.
* Stand more to the left → the NPC is likely to hit right.
* Stay too close to the net → the NPC will often lob behind you.

If you have AP you can buy the Heart Bag Coin for +1 Expand Quick Slot. All of them are good except the red one and rings for guardian because we need the extra QS Slot.
Learning this behavior allows you to position yourself before every shot and makes Guardian Battles much easier.
If you don’t have any AP you can buy the Bag for Gold in Shop when you reach Level 25.
We love Mod / Dad Bag = 11.960 Gold = 2 ALL Stats / +1 Expand Quick Slot
We can change our Shoes to increase our DEX and we can buy a new Racket on Level 30 to change  3 STR into DEX.

Flowerboys Shoes = 1.240 Gold = 11 DEX *+3 DEX from old Shoe*
== Crab Quick Slot Strategy ==
Bear Sole Racket = 9.160 Gold = 12 STR 3 DEX * 3 STR switch to 3 DEX*

Here we reach the Max amount of STR / DEX with the current shop. Your Stats should have now 60 DEX and Rest STR. Depends on which Racket you use or maybe bought few different items because of cutenest / coolnest etc. you are around 50-60 DEX.
On every Guardian map, try to throw your '''Crab''' as far as possible onto the enemy side.

Life Woods and higher Maps. We going Endgame now.
The goal is either:

We need 3 different QS to beat all Maps after Aelos. I want to make sure you guys understand this part. Our 3 QS which we can use during the Guardian Battle don’t share the same cool down.
* Force the NPC to run into the Crab.
Quick Slot 1 and 2 have the same cool down so you can only use 1 of them and have to wait until they are available again. Quick Slot 3 has his own cool down. I recommend to fill this slot with QS which has higher value. For example a shield. So you can use your shield always in danger for example when the NPC uses Souls.
* Hit the NPC directly.

1: DMG QS = Crabs, Souls
'''Life Woods''' is the first map that contains two enemies. Fortunately, you have plenty of time before reaching it to practice using Crabs efficiently.
2: Healing = Magic Potion *fastest healing Potion*
3: Shield = Holy Shield *Reduce all incoming DMG to 1*

With this Setup we can clear any Map we want but we focus later on the Map Monslava because this Map give us a really good amount of Gold. The higher Map we should only do in group.
== Quick Slot Economy ==

This part is actually very short. We farm Life Woods until we are confident enough to focus our DMG on the smaller NPC for higher Maps. We learn 3 new mechanic we HAVE to use otherwise the Maps difficulty will skyrocket. The smaller NPC which we going to focus first is always in the front in the beginning of the round.
Gold is extremely limited at the beginning of the game, so managing your Quick Slots correctly is very important.

1: Only use one DPS Item / Quick slot at the same time. Souls, Fireballs etc. have a push back so be careful otherwise we push him into back line and the Bigger NPC is in front with way more HP.
Whenever possible, always buy a full stack.

2: Play the ball to the Big NPC to avoid that the smaller NPC follows the ball and moves himself to the back line. Also keep using your DPS Items / QS one after one to deal DMG and not to push him. Slow progress is the key here do not rush and burst the smaller NPC.
Example:

3: Boss Battle starts when we cleare the Map under 3 Min Please Avoid this. This only happens in Arena and higher Maps. Higher Maps have different Boss Battle Timer which can be 4 min and more.
* 1 Stack Crab = 50 Crabs
* Cost: 1,000 Gold

When we manage to farm Life Woods without any problem we can move to Arena and repeat our mechanics. Remember to switch Crabs to Souls, At this point you should have enough STR DEX to make Souls very strong. Monslava is the last Map we want to focus Solo to farm Gold.
During leveling, continue using the stack until only one use remains.

Endgame Gear
After that:

There are 2 options to reach the highest DPS with STR DEX.
# Sell the remaining Quick Slot.
# Buy a new full stack.
# Slot it again.

1: Spend your Gold in Shop for the best STR DEX clothes.
Selling the nearly empty stack refunds roughly '''50%''' of the original purchase price.

Head : Black Thief Cap     = 50.000 Gold = 6 STR (9 STR enchanted)
This trick works for almost every Quick Slot item and saves a large amount of Gold over time.
Upper : Training Red Hood = 100.000 Gold = 12 STR (3 DEX enchanted)
Lover : Training Jeans = 100.000 Gold = 12 STR (3 DEX enchanted)
Shoes : Training Sneakers = 50.000 Gold = 5 STR / 7 DEX (7 STR 10 DEX enchanted)
Aux. : Angry Face Mask     = 2.360     Gold = 4 STR 30 Days timer

2: Spend your Gold in Shop for Gacha
== Starting Equipment ==

Japanese School Coin
You begin the game with '''10,000 Gold'''.
Rome Solider Coin
Lucky Plate Gloves
Bonus Option

You can also Farm in Machine City the Black Scale Set Boxes for the endgame Gear.
Spend almost everything on increasing your STR and DEX while also buying shoes that provide movement speed.

1: Meteorit (Mets) *Random DMG on opponents side*
Farm '''Nest of Rubycrab''' until you unlock '''The Aelos'''.
2: Deluxe Healing *AOE Healing for the Group*
3. Souls *Main Single Target DMG*
4. Item Bash *20% increase DMG*
5. Blessed Aim *+1 Projectile Souls*

Deluxe Healing and other healing QS we farm with the Gacha Viking Coin.
While leveling, your priority is purchasing the following shop items.

For Blessing Aim we need a Bag which has +1 Item Buff. Use Item Bash if you can only use 1 Buff. Without this we can only use 1 Buff at the same time.

Hunting the last Items for your Max DPS output “Gold Gacha” or Boss Farm
== Racket Skillshots ==

Arena Boss     = Boss Gacha = Dragon Slayer = Racket
Rackets can have different Skillshots.
Machine City Boss = Boss Gacha = Full Gear *replace your Dragon Slayer*
Head G Coin     = Shop Gacha = Devil Horn     = Head
Panda Coin     = Shop Gacha = Panda Bag (Pink) = Bag
Monslava (Blue Capsule) = Boss Gacha = JFTSE Modulator (Red) = Face

When you get your Wings from the Black Scale Set. You can use 2 Buffs. Item Bash and Blessed Aim
There are two types:

Hunting the last Items for your Max DPS output “AP Gacha”
* Offensive Skillshot
* Defensive Skillshot

Angel, Devil Coin = Devil Horn = Head
Some rackets provide both.
Angel, Devil Coin = Devil Wing = Bag
Rare Box ll     = Angel Blade = Racket

The '''Rooters Pennant''' is especially useful because it offers both offensive and defensive Skillshots.

Very Important: When you farm the best Items and replace your old Gear. Your DEX and STR will change. You can play with less than DEX 60 or you combine your Gear to keep 60 DEX. In Shop there is an Item called “Wing of Memory” which can reset all your Stats. With Level 50 you can start to save your Skillpoints do avoid to buy the WoM. Max Level where you earn +1 Skillpoint is 65. After that you only increase your HP.
If you miss a ball while having a Skillshot charge available, you can often recover the point instead of immediately losing it.

Enchantment
== Optional Equipment ==

All the Gachas from PVE Boss Battle gives you enchantment material. We call them Jewel, Tablet and Element. Element gives us DMG or Defense. On Racket we increase our DMG and on armor we increase our Def. In our case we only focus on DMG.
If available, use lower-body equipment that provides '''STA''' or '''WIL''' for additional Ball Damage.

Onyx, Moonstone and Jasper you can use to enchant you Gear for STR DEX and rest. This Jewels are low Level means they have low success rate. The Tablets are always 100% success so no worry of failing. When you start to use Elements on your Gear you need better Jewels. Spinel is good and Peridot is very good to enchant Element on your Gear. Lolite is the best and recommended for higher enchant Levels. STR DEX need to use the Wind Element to increase the DMG of the Soul QS. Please choose atleast the Dragon Slayer Racket or better once for the Wind Upgrade. The first 5 Level of the enchant cant be downgraded here you can use lower Jewels. After +5 a failure will reduce your enchant by 1 keep this in mind please. Max Element is +9.
Otherwise, simply leave the slot empty until you obtain a better item.
```
== Switching from Crabs to Souls ==
Other useful Mechanics
During leveling, your DEX will continuously increase. At some point, we will replace our Crab Quick Slot with Souls to increase our single-target damage.
1: When you use a Crystal you can press S or A to cancel your Item and Strike.
To make this change successfully, it is important to understand the difference between both Quick Slots.
2. The first player who die will be a Ghost. NPCs will ignore him. ( only for Ball )
3. Carnival Coin has high chance of EXP and GOLD rings.
{| class="wikitable"
4. When you use a Crystal right before you get hit my some Items like Souls, Mets etc. you can avoid being staggered. Doesn't work vs push back Items like Fireball or Inferno.
! Quick Slot
5. You can sell all QS which you dont use while Leveling to earn a lot money.
! Advantages
! Disadvantages
|-
| Crab
| Easy to use, attacks enemies in the backline, very fast cooldown
| Lower damage later in the game
|-
| Souls
| Higher single-target damage, scales with DEX
| Only attacks the front enemy
|}
Crabs are easier to use because they can hit enemies standing in the backline.
Souls have higher single-target damage, but they only hit the enemy in front.
Souls also scale with DEX:
* Every 10 DEX provides +1 additional Soul projectile.
* The first additional projectile starts at 30 DEX.
=== Soul Projectile Scaling ===
{| class="wikitable"
|-
| 40 DEX
| 3 Projectiles
|-
| 50 DEX
| 4 Projectiles
|-
| 60 DEX
| 5 Projectiles
|}
Later in the game, Souls become much stronger than Crabs and are the main single-target DPS Quick Slot for endgame.
You need a good STR/DEX balance before Souls outperform Crabs.
== Ball Damage Knowledge ==
'''Important mechanic:'''
When a Guardian serves the ball, the incoming damage if you miss the ball is lower than the Ball Damage of the NPC who hits the ball.
Understanding this mechanic helps you decide when taking a risk is acceptable.
== The Aelos Progression ==
The Aelos will be your main farming map for a long time.
The next map after The Aelos is '''Life Woods'''. This map contains two NPCs and requires better preparation.
Before moving forward, focus on maximizing your STR and DEX using shop equipment.
If you already have a Bag and unlocked your third Quick Slot, you can start farming Life Woods.
Without a third Quick Slot, Life Woods is much harder because the Goliath can use Souls, which deal a large amount of damage.
== Bag Upgrade ==
If you have AP, you can purchase the Heart Bag Coin for:
* +1 Expand Quick Slot
Most bags are useful, except the red one and Guardian rings, because the additional Quick Slot is extremely valuable.
If you do not have AP, buy the Gold Bag from the shop when reaching Level 25.
{| class="wikitable"
! Item
! Cost
! Bonus
|-
| We Love Mod / Dad Bag
| 11,960 Gold
== Level 30 Equipment Upgrade ==
At Level 30, we can replace some equipment to gain additional DEX.
{| class="wikitable"
| +11 DEX
| +3 DEX compared to old shoes
|-
| Bear Sole Racket
| 9,160 Gold
| Converts 3 STR into 3 DEX
|}
After these upgrades, you have reached the maximum STR/DEX values currently available from the shop.
Your target stats should be:
'''60 DEX + remaining points into STR'''
Depending on your racket, equipment choices, and personal preferences, you will usually end up around:
* 50–60 DEX
* Remaining stats in STR
== Life Woods and Beyond ==
From Life Woods onward, the game changes.
You will need three different Quick Slots to clear all maps after The Aelos.
Understanding Quick Slot cooldowns is very important.
Quick Slot 1 and Quick Slot 2 share the same cooldown.
This means you can only use one of them at a time.
Quick Slot 3 has its own independent cooldown.
I recommend placing valuable defensive items in this slot.
Example:
{| class="wikitable"
! Slot
! Purpose
! Recommended Item
|-
| 1
| Damage
| Crab / Souls
|-
| 2
| Healing
| Magic Potion
|-
| 3
| Shield
| Holy Shield
|}
'''Holy Shield''' is especially useful because it reduces all incoming damage to 1.
Use it whenever you are in danger, for example when an NPC uses Souls.
== Advanced Guardian Mechanics ==
With this setup, you can clear every map.
However, later you should focus on '''Monslava''' because it provides a very good amount of Gold.
Higher maps are usually better played in groups.
Farm Life Woods until you are confident enough to focus your damage on the smaller NPC in higher maps.
The smaller NPC is always the first priority because defeating it quickly makes the fight much easier.
== Fighting Multiple NPCs ==
Three mechanics become extremely important:
=== 1. Avoid Over-Pushing ===
Only use one DPS Quick Slot at a time.
Souls, Fireballs, and similar items can push enemies backwards.
Be careful not to push the smaller NPC into the backline, because then the bigger NPC with much more HP will become the front target.
=== 2. Control NPC Movement ===
Try to play the ball toward the bigger NPC.
This prevents the smaller NPC from following the ball and moving into the backline.
Use your DPS Quick Slots one after another.
Slow and controlled damage is better than bursting too quickly.
=== 3. Avoid Early Boss Battles ===
Boss Battle starts when you clear a map too quickly.
Avoid clearing maps under the timer limit.
This mainly happens in Arena and higher maps.
Boss timers can differ depending on the map and may be 4 minutes or more.
```

== Endgame Progression ==

Once you can farm Life Woods without problems, you can move on to Arena and higher maps.

At this point, you should already have enough STR and DEX to make Souls your main damage source.

Remember to switch from Crabs to Souls.

For solo farming, '''Monslava''' is the final map we recommend focusing on because it provides a very good amount of Gold.

== Endgame STR/DEX Equipment ==

There are two main ways to reach the highest DPS with a STR/DEX build.

== Option 1: Shop Equipment ==

Spend your Gold on the best STR/DEX equipment available in the shop.

{| class="wikitable"
! Slot
! Item
! Cost
! Base Stats
! Enchanted Stats
|-
| Head
| Black Thief Cap
| 50,000 Gold

|-

| +5 STR / +7 DEX
| +7 STR / +10 DEX
|-
| Auxiliary
| Angry Face Mask
| 2,360 Gold
| +4 STR
| 30 Day Timer
|}

== Option 2: Gacha Equipment ==

Instead of buying shop equipment, you can invest your Gold into Gachas.

Recommended Gachas:

* Japanese School Coin
* Rome Soldier Coin
* Lucky Plate Gloves
* Bonus Option items

You can also farm the '''Black Scale Set Boxes''' in Machine City to obtain endgame equipment.

== Group Play STR/DEX Build ==

For group content, we change our Quick Slots to maximize DPS.

Recommended setup:

{| class="wikitable"
! Slot
! Item
! Purpose
|-
| 1
| Meteorite (Mets)
| Random damage on opponent side
|-
| 2
| Deluxe Healing
| Area healing for the group
|-
| 3
| Souls
| Main single-target DPS
|-
| 4
| Item Bash
| +20% Damage increase
|-
| 5
| Blessed Aim
| +1 Soul Projectile
|}

Deluxe Healing and other healing Quick Slots can be obtained from the Gacha Viking Coin.

For Blessed Aim, you need a Bag with:

'''+1 Item Buff'''

If you cannot use this bonus, use Item Bash instead.

Without the additional Item Buff, only one buff can be active at the same time.

== Final Item Hunting ==

The following items are considered important upgrades for maximum DPS.

=== Gold Gacha / Boss Farming ===

{| class="wikitable"
! Source
! Reward

|-
| Arena Boss
| Boss Gacha
| Dragon Slayer Racket
|-

| Angel Blade
| Racket
|}

== Stat Reset and Skill Points ==

When farming your final equipment, your STR and DEX values may change.

You can either:

* Play with less than 60 DEX.
* Mix equipment to maintain 60 DEX.

The shop contains an item called '''Wing of Memory''' which resets all your stats.

At Level 50, you can start saving Skill Points to avoid buying Wing of Memory.

The maximum level where you receive +1 Skill Point is Level 65.

After Level 65, only HP increases.

== Enchantment System ==

All PvE Boss Battle Gachas can provide enchantment materials.

These materials are:

* Jewel
* Tablet
* Element

=== Elements ===

Elements increase either damage or defense.

For this STR/DEX build, we focus only on increasing damage.

Recommended usage:

* Racket → Damage increase
* Armor → Defense increase

=== Jewels and Tablets ===

Onyx, Moonstone, and Jasper can be used to enchant equipment with STR, DEX, and other stats.

These are lower-level jewels and have a lower success rate.

Tablets always have a '''100% success rate'''.

=== Element Enchanting ===

When upgrading Elements, stronger Jewels are required.

Recommended Jewels:

{| class="wikitable"
! Jewel
! Quality
|-
| Spinel
| Good
|-
| Peridot
| Very Good
|-
| Lolite
| Best choice for higher enchant levels
|}

For a STR/DEX build, use the '''Wind Element''' because it increases the damage of the Soul Quick Slot.

At minimum, upgrade your:

* Dragon Slayer Racket
* or a better racket

with Wind Element.

=== Enchantment Failure Rules ===

The first 3 Element enchant levels cannot be downgraded.

This means you can use cheaper materials safely.

After 3:

* A failed enchantment reduces the enchantment level by 1.

Maximum Element level:

'''+9'''

== Important Endgame Tips ==

When replacing old equipment with stronger items, always check your STR and DEX values again.

Your final equipment may change your stat distribution.

Make sure your build still fits your preferred playstyle.

== Other Useful Mechanics ==

=== Canceling Actions ===

When using a Crystal, you can press:

* S
* A

to cancel your Item action and Strike.

=== Ghost Mechanic ===

The first player who dies becomes a Ghost.

NPCs will ignore the Ghost player.

This only applies to the ball interaction.

=== Carnival Coin ===

Carnival Coin has a high chance to provide:

* EXP Rings
* Gold Rings

=== Crystal Timing ===

Using a Crystal right before being hit by certain Quick Slots can prevent you from being staggered.

Examples:

* Souls
* Meteorites

This does not work against pushing attacks such as:

* Fireball
* Inferno

=== Selling Unused Quick Slots ===

During leveling, sell Quick Slots that you no longer need.

This is a great way to generate additional Gold.

Unused items have no value while sitting in your inventory, so converting them back into Gold helps your progression.

Fantasy Tennis Solo Beginner Guide

Author: Ely (Character: Niki)

Introduction

Welcome to my Fantasy Tennis Solo STR/DEX Beginner Guide.

This guide is aimed at new players who want to level efficiently while dealing as much DPS as possible from the beginning all the way to the endgame.

Our goal is to maximize both our damage and our economy throughout the leveling process.

Skill Points

Invest all Skill Points into STR until Level 20.

Important: When you reach Level 20, check which equipment you plan to buy and adjust your stats accordingly.

This guide covers progression up to Level 30. After that, the shop no longer provides additional stat upgrades, so make sure your final build reaches at least 60 DEX. Every remaining Skill Point should be invested into STR.

Gold Management

If you have more Gold than you currently need, there are several good ways to spend it.

  • Buy furniture for your house to increase your Gold and EXP income (up to 45%).
  • Purchase Dragon Slayer.
  • Buy Gachas from other players or from the shop.

Managing your Gold correctly early on will make the entire leveling process much easier.

Guardian Battle Mechanics

Understanding Guardian AI is extremely important.

NPCs usually aim for the side where you are not standing.

  • Stand more to the right → the NPC is likely to hit left.
  • Stand more to the left → the NPC is likely to hit right.
  • Stay too close to the net → the NPC will often lob behind you.

Learning this behavior allows you to position yourself before every shot and makes Guardian Battles much easier.

Crab Quick Slot Strategy

On every Guardian map, try to throw your Crab as far as possible onto the enemy side.

The goal is either:

  • Force the NPC to run into the Crab.
  • Hit the NPC directly.

Life Woods is the first map that contains two enemies. Fortunately, you have plenty of time before reaching it to practice using Crabs efficiently.

Quick Slot Economy

Gold is extremely limited at the beginning of the game, so managing your Quick Slots correctly is very important.

Whenever possible, always buy a full stack.

Example:

  • 1 Stack Crab = 50 Crabs
  • Cost: 1,000 Gold

During leveling, continue using the stack until only one use remains.

After that:

  1. Sell the remaining Quick Slot.
  2. Buy a new full stack.
  3. Slot it again.

Selling the nearly empty stack refunds roughly 50% of the original purchase price.

This trick works for almost every Quick Slot item and saves a large amount of Gold over time.

Starting Equipment

You begin the game with 10,000 Gold.

Spend almost everything on increasing your STR and DEX while also buying shoes that provide movement speed.

Item Cost Bonus Notes
Rudolph Horn 3,960 Gold +3 STR / +3 DEX
Mariachi Shoes 1,960 Gold +8 DEX +5 Movement Speed
Racing Gloves 2,360 Gold +3 DEX
Crab Trap 1,000 Gold Main DPS Quick Slot

Early Progression

Farm Nest of Rubycrab until you unlock The Aelos.

While leveling, your priority is purchasing the following shop items.

Priority Item Cost Stats Notes
1 Star Wing Racket 7,960 Gold +10 STR Optional
2 Love Boy T-Shirt 5,836 Gold +12 DEX
3 Rooters Pennant 11,960 Gold +15 STR Highly Recommended
4 Soft Mohican 3,160 Gold +1 All Stats

Racket Skillshots

Rackets can have different Skillshots.

There are two types:

  • Offensive Skillshot
  • Defensive Skillshot

Some rackets provide both.

The Rooters Pennant is especially useful because it offers both offensive and defensive Skillshots.

If you miss a ball while having a Skillshot charge available, you can often recover the point instead of immediately losing it.

Optional Equipment

If available, use lower-body equipment that provides STA or WIL for additional Ball Damage.

Otherwise, simply leave the slot empty until you obtain a better item. ```

Switching from Crabs to Souls

During leveling, your DEX will continuously increase. At some point, we will replace our Crab Quick Slot with Souls to increase our single-target damage.

To make this change successfully, it is important to understand the difference between both Quick Slots.

Quick Slot Advantages Disadvantages
Crab Easy to use, attacks enemies in the backline, very fast cooldown Lower damage later in the game
Souls Higher single-target damage, scales with DEX Only attacks the front enemy

Crabs are easier to use because they can hit enemies standing in the backline.

Souls have higher single-target damage, but they only hit the enemy in front.

Souls also scale with DEX:

  • Every 10 DEX provides +1 additional Soul projectile.
  • The first additional projectile starts at 30 DEX.

Soul Projectile Scaling

DEX Soul Projectiles
30 DEX 2 Projectiles
40 DEX 3 Projectiles
50 DEX 4 Projectiles
60 DEX 5 Projectiles

Later in the game, Souls become much stronger than Crabs and are the main single-target DPS Quick Slot for endgame.

You need a good STR/DEX balance before Souls outperform Crabs.

Ball Damage Knowledge

Important mechanic:

When a Guardian serves the ball, the incoming damage if you miss the ball is lower than the Ball Damage of the NPC who hits the ball.

Understanding this mechanic helps you decide when taking a risk is acceptable.

The Aelos Progression

The Aelos will be your main farming map for a long time.

The next map after The Aelos is Life Woods. This map contains two NPCs and requires better preparation.

Before moving forward, focus on maximizing your STR and DEX using shop equipment.

If you already have a Bag and unlocked your third Quick Slot, you can start farming Life Woods.

Without a third Quick Slot, Life Woods is much harder because the Goliath can use Souls, which deal a large amount of damage.

Bag Upgrade

If you have AP, you can purchase the Heart Bag Coin for:

  • +1 Expand Quick Slot

Most bags are useful, except the red one and Guardian rings, because the additional Quick Slot is extremely valuable.

If you do not have AP, buy the Gold Bag from the shop when reaching Level 25.

Item Cost Bonus
We Love Mod / Dad Bag 11,960 Gold +2 All Stats / +1 Expand Quick Slot

Level 30 Equipment Upgrade

At Level 30, we can replace some equipment to gain additional DEX.

Item Cost Stats Improvement
Flowerboys Shoes 1,240 Gold +11 DEX +3 DEX compared to old shoes
Bear Sole Racket 9,160 Gold +12 STR / +3 DEX Converts 3 STR into 3 DEX

After these upgrades, you have reached the maximum STR/DEX values currently available from the shop.

Your target stats should be:

60 DEX + remaining points into STR

Depending on your racket, equipment choices, and personal preferences, you will usually end up around:

  • 50–60 DEX
  • Remaining stats in STR

Life Woods and Beyond

From Life Woods onward, the game changes.

You will need three different Quick Slots to clear all maps after The Aelos.

Understanding Quick Slot cooldowns is very important.

Quick Slot 1 and Quick Slot 2 share the same cooldown.

This means you can only use one of them at a time.

Quick Slot 3 has its own independent cooldown.

I recommend placing valuable defensive items in this slot.

Example:

Slot Purpose Recommended Item
1 Damage Crab / Souls
2 Healing Magic Potion
3 Shield Holy Shield

Holy Shield is especially useful because it reduces all incoming damage to 1.

Use it whenever you are in danger, for example when an NPC uses Souls.

Advanced Guardian Mechanics

With this setup, you can clear every map.

However, later you should focus on Monslava because it provides a very good amount of Gold.

Higher maps are usually better played in groups.

Farm Life Woods until you are confident enough to focus your damage on the smaller NPC in higher maps.

The smaller NPC is always the first priority because defeating it quickly makes the fight much easier.

Fighting Multiple NPCs

Three mechanics become extremely important:

1. Avoid Over-Pushing

Only use one DPS Quick Slot at a time.

Souls, Fireballs, and similar items can push enemies backwards.

Be careful not to push the smaller NPC into the backline, because then the bigger NPC with much more HP will become the front target.

2. Control NPC Movement

Try to play the ball toward the bigger NPC.

This prevents the smaller NPC from following the ball and moving into the backline.

Use your DPS Quick Slots one after another.

Slow and controlled damage is better than bursting too quickly.

3. Avoid Early Boss Battles

Boss Battle starts when you clear a map too quickly.

Avoid clearing maps under the timer limit.

This mainly happens in Arena and higher maps.

Boss timers can differ depending on the map and may be 4 minutes or more. ```

Endgame Progression

Once you can farm Life Woods without problems, you can move on to Arena and higher maps.

At this point, you should already have enough STR and DEX to make Souls your main damage source.

Remember to switch from Crabs to Souls.

For solo farming, Monslava is the final map we recommend focusing on because it provides a very good amount of Gold.

Endgame STR/DEX Equipment

There are two main ways to reach the highest DPS with a STR/DEX build.

Option 1: Shop Equipment

Spend your Gold on the best STR/DEX equipment available in the shop.

Slot Item Cost Base Stats Enchanted Stats
Head Black Thief Cap 50,000 Gold +6 STR +9 STR
Upper Training Red Hood 100,000 Gold +12 STR +3 DEX
Lower Training Jeans 100,000 Gold +12 STR +3 DEX
Shoes Training Sneakers 50,000 Gold +5 STR / +7 DEX +7 STR / +10 DEX
Auxiliary Angry Face Mask 2,360 Gold +4 STR 30 Day Timer

Option 2: Gacha Equipment

Instead of buying shop equipment, you can invest your Gold into Gachas.

Recommended Gachas:

  • Japanese School Coin
  • Rome Soldier Coin
  • Lucky Plate Gloves
  • Bonus Option items

You can also farm the Black Scale Set Boxes in Machine City to obtain endgame equipment.

Group Play STR/DEX Build

For group content, we change our Quick Slots to maximize DPS.

Recommended setup:

Slot Item Purpose
1 Meteorite (Mets) Random damage on opponent side
2 Deluxe Healing Area healing for the group
3 Souls Main single-target DPS
4 Item Bash +20% Damage increase
5 Blessed Aim +1 Soul Projectile

Deluxe Healing and other healing Quick Slots can be obtained from the Gacha Viking Coin.

For Blessed Aim, you need a Bag with:

+1 Item Buff

If you cannot use this bonus, use Item Bash instead.

Without the additional Item Buff, only one buff can be active at the same time.

Final Item Hunting

The following items are considered important upgrades for maximum DPS.

Gold Gacha / Boss Farming

Source Reward Item Slot
Arena Boss Boss Gacha Dragon Slayer Racket
Machine City Boss Boss Gacha Full Gear Replacement
Head G Coin Shop Gacha Devil Horn
Panda Coin Shop Gacha Panda Bag (Pink)
Monslava (Blue Capsule) Boss Gacha JFTSE Modulator (Red)

AP Gacha Farming

Source Reward Slot
Angel / Devil Coin Devil Horn Head
Angel / Devil Coin Devil Wing Bag
Rare Box II Angel Blade Racket

Stat Reset and Skill Points

When farming your final equipment, your STR and DEX values may change.

You can either:

  • Play with less than 60 DEX.
  • Mix equipment to maintain 60 DEX.

The shop contains an item called Wing of Memory which resets all your stats.

At Level 50, you can start saving Skill Points to avoid buying Wing of Memory.

The maximum level where you receive +1 Skill Point is Level 65.

After Level 65, only HP increases.

Enchantment System

All PvE Boss Battle Gachas can provide enchantment materials.

These materials are:

  • Jewel
  • Tablet
  • Element

Elements

Elements increase either damage or defense.

For this STR/DEX build, we focus only on increasing damage.

Recommended usage:

  • Racket → Damage increase
  • Armor → Defense increase

Jewels and Tablets

Onyx, Moonstone, and Jasper can be used to enchant equipment with STR, DEX, and other stats.

These are lower-level jewels and have a lower success rate.

Tablets always have a 100% success rate.

Element Enchanting

When upgrading Elements, stronger Jewels are required.

Recommended Jewels:

Jewel Quality
Spinel Good
Peridot Very Good
Lolite Best choice for higher enchant levels

For a STR/DEX build, use the Wind Element because it increases the damage of the Soul Quick Slot.

At minimum, upgrade your:

  • Dragon Slayer Racket
  • or a better racket

with Wind Element.

Enchantment Failure Rules

The first 3 Element enchant levels cannot be downgraded.

This means you can use cheaper materials safely.

After 3:

  • A failed enchantment reduces the enchantment level by 1.

Maximum Element level:

+9

Important Endgame Tips

When replacing old equipment with stronger items, always check your STR and DEX values again.

Your final equipment may change your stat distribution.

Make sure your build still fits your preferred playstyle.

Other Useful Mechanics

Canceling Actions

When using a Crystal, you can press:

  • S
  • A

to cancel your Item action and Strike.

Ghost Mechanic

The first player who dies becomes a Ghost.

NPCs will ignore the Ghost player.

This only applies to the ball interaction.

Carnival Coin

Carnival Coin has a high chance to provide:

  • EXP Rings
  • Gold Rings

Crystal Timing

Using a Crystal right before being hit by certain Quick Slots can prevent you from being staggered.

Examples:

  • Souls
  • Meteorites

This does not work against pushing attacks such as:

  • Fireball
  • Inferno

Selling Unused Quick Slots

During leveling, sell Quick Slots that you no longer need.

This is a great way to generate additional Gold.

Unused items have no value while sitting in your inventory, so converting them back into Gold helps your progression.
